Oboe Recitals

Julia is an experienced recitalist, and performs regularly with pianist Kiyoko Fukuo (pictured right), with whom she has been working since 2004. Kiyoko was born in Japan and studied in the UK at Trinity College of Music and Guildhall School of Music.
They have a wide repertoire spanning several centuries of music. Themed programmes available include British music for oboe, and French music. Please go to the repertoire page for more information on oboe/piano and solo oboe repertoire, though if a particular work you require is not listed please do ask as the list only contains a small selection of the works in their repertoire. They are happy to develop programmes in response to specific requests or to fit a particular theme, and concerts can include a solo piano work and a work for cor anglais to provide variety. As duo partners, they have performed across London and the South East including at the Chapel Royal, Brighton, and the Old Royal Naval College, London. They have also collaborated with the flautists Simon Gilliver and Lucy McIntyre for trio concerts, and have given a lecture recital 'Writing for Winds'.
